Her areas of specialty include gynecology, infertility, prenatal and postnatal care, chronic pain management and digestive health. As a native of Italy, I began my medical practice 35 years ago as a registered nurse. I then moved to California and pursued my Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I have extensive experience in treating stress related disorders such as insomnia, fatigue, depression, anxiety and cravings, Women’s health such as PMS, menopause and infertility and injuries and pain management.

I’m a second year student practitioner of Heavenly Essence Qi gong System Te Yi medicinal Qi Gong, which is a healing modality that focuses on using focused intent and subtle hands on techniques to restore the body back to a balanced, healthy state. It is a system that was developed in China utilizing the most potent esoteric practices from three different Qigong systems, and it is excellent for those people who are too fearful, sensitive or weak for needles and are seeking a healing form that is non-invasive. It is an excellent choice for children and elderly or chronically ill patients that have not responded to conventional treatments.

I’m a caring and nurturing professional who strives to help patients understand their health and encourage them to take active part in their own healing process. To me, the goal of Chinese Medicine is to restore balance, which is attained by treating the root cause of the illness through the use of acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, cupping therapy, dietary and lifestyle changes. “I use a very hands on, collaborative approach. The body is a magnificent revealer of experience. I use my training in therapeutic massage to decipher what the body is holding, and what can be released. I draw from my past dance and choreography experience to find creative ways to integrate movement, bodywork and acupuncture towards your rehabilitation from injury and pain. Drawing from my background in psychology, meditation and Somatics helps me facilitate an embodied presence and guides you toward a deeper understanding of yourself. Chinese medicine reveals connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena of your experience, thus uncovering the root cause of the ailment you are seeking to treat.”
